welcome to chai unfiltered's special holiday post, another reader's pick! this is unlike my thanksgiving post, a lot shorter at least, but i wanted to highlight some of my readers' favorites this holiday season. subscribers were asked to send in their holiday-related movie and episodes that reminded them of the holidays. without further a do, here is the list that all of y'all came up with -

home alone - a universal favorite with the perfect blend of humor and nostalgia, this movie has a special place in all of our hearts, making it an important part of our holiday plans
a charlie brown christmas - charlie brown enters the running again, with it being iconic in its own way, no words are needed to explain this one
elf - will ferrell's whimsy in this movie is not one to be forgotten about, and buddy will always have a special place in our homes for the holidays
rudolph the red-nosed reindeer - a holiday special, one that if it was mentioned, it was very high on people's lists, this interestingly stop-motion film is very much still cherished
how the grinch stole christmas - this is a stand-out special for the holidays, with Jim carrey's portrayal still iconic to this day
the polar express - this loved film has such a heartwarming story behind it, one that has become a holiday tradition to many viewers
frosty the snowman - this animated movie continues to this day to still be an important part of holiday specials for many
the animated dr. seuss' the grinch - this animated rendition of the grinch has brought a new view and a more modern twist to the classic story
friend's season seven, episode ten - "the one with the holiday armadillo" - this was a little twist to the rankings, with this being somewhat of a popular choice with readers', bringing something different to holiday media
home alone 2: lost in new york - while this might not be as iconic as the original, this sequel still has a large enough fan base to make it to the top ten list
